THE HISTORY OF DUNE VALLEY DISTILLERY Owner and distiller, Nicolas Chambers has long wanted to experiment on producing unique Colorado potato and quinoa vodkas. Dune Valley Distillery, based in Mosca, Colorado, is located in the Rio Grande watershed. We operate in the newly renovated Historic 1930's-era gymnasium and community hall that once hosted the first Sangre De Cristo School. We share this property with Colorado Quinoa and White Mountain Farm. The crops utilized in the creation of our beverages are grown in the surrounding fields and the seeds are cleaned in a new, state-of-the-art cleaning plant. Dune Valley vodka is not a completely neutral spirit but one that highlights the unique high alpine desert valley terroir which is reminiscent of the Andes (where quinoa originally evolved). Their spirit is composed of 100% malted quinoa grown at White Mountain Farm in Mosca,
