Carbone WIne: Sangre Rose
Description
Colorado craft began with Carbone
Wine. A descendent of the wine culture
of Avellino, Italy, industriously poetic
Anthony Carbone set up shop in Denver, CO
in 1903 to provide quality Italian food, wine and
spirits to the burgeoning western market.
After the repeal of Prohibition in 1933, A. Carbone & Co.
received the first wine and liquor license in Colorado.
Carbone Wine was a staple through the Great Depression
and World War II, even after surviving a warehouse fire and
mob threats. Today, family members have come together in
celebration of this legacy by selecting quality Colorado
wines and spirits for your own poetry and industry.
Crisp and refreshing with a hint of sweetness, our Rosé is 100%
estate grown by one of the oldest fruit growing families of
Palisade. An array of fragrant aromas gives way to abundant
flavors of strawberry, raspberry and rhubarb. No malolactic
fermentation and no barrel aging lend to a distinctive,
fruit forward wine carrying Colorado’s unique high
desert terroir.
