Carbone Wine: Blanca Chardonnay
Description
Colorado craft began with Carbone
Wine. A descendent of the wine culture
of Avellino, Italy, industriously poetic
Anthony Carbone set up shop in Denver, CO
in 19!3 to provide quality Italian food, wine and
spirits to the burgeoning western market.
After the repeal of Prohibition in 1933, A. Carbone &
Co. received the first wine and liquor license in Colorado.
Carbone Wine was a staple through the Great Depression
and World War II, even after surviving a warehouse fire and
mob threats. Today, family members have come together in
celebration of this legacy by selecting quality Colorado
wines and spirits for your own poetry and industry.
Our unoaked Chardonnay is 100% estate grown by one of the
oldest fruit growing families of Palisade. Tantalizing flavors of
lemon, pear, apple and pineapple excite the palate but soon
lead to a deep, rich finish with subtle notes of butter and
vanilla. 50% malolactic fermentation create a one of
a kind chardonnay to match Colorado’s unique high
desert terroir.
